Ash & Angel Boy's Page

Ash's owner didn't want to treat his diabetes because it would interfere too much with her social life and weekends away, so she was going to let nature take its course. She got a lot of nasty replies on the FDMB and ended up deleting all of her messages, but one person was able to track her down and started emailing her. She agreed to let him go to a new home, if all her conditions were met. She said he was a man-hater and didn't like other cats so he had to go to a home where he would be the only cat and any man there would have to leave him alone, and she wanted him to stay in the Tacoma area. Robert has a cousin in Tacoma and she agreed to pretend to adopt him until another home could be found. Unfortunately, no one else wanted to take him, so Patricia and Robert said they would, and then drove to Tacoma to pick him up. They did let his original owner know where he ended up and they exchange email and send her pictures. This is the man-hater Ash sitting in Robert's lap.

Angel Boy's owner lived in New Hampshire and had terminal brain cancer. She wanted him to be euthanized and buried with her. Her sister believed that the cancer was affecting her thought process so she began searching for someone to take him. No one wanted to adopt him and time was running out. His owner died before he left. When he first went to live with Patricia, he could hardly use his back legs at all, now he is running and playing and he no longer needs insulin.
